Play and Audiences

Method:

I will draw some random lines that do not have a meaning at all. I will bring in a few of my classmates to draw anything they feel like depending on what they see by using their own creativity. It can be an object, character etc.

Context:

Involving audience to participate instead of observing. As a child, to increase my drawing skills I used to use a book that is made for drawing. There were these shapes of an animal and they were only half drawn. The task was to complete the other half using your imagination and by understanding the other half. I thought those were very creative and engaging as it not only lets the audience copy whats drawn but also draw the other half yourselves.

Response:

I am happy to see the results as some are images that I would have not thought to draw. Using an audience of various imagination and creativity it gave us difference perspectives of how the line can be seen.

Reflection:

This is play as the audience were involved in creating different images. It was playful as they were doing it. They didn't take much time to think they just saw the image and knew what it would look like.
